The patented Smart Pot is a soft-sided, fabric aeration container that has the rigidity to hold its shape. It is foldable and made with a UV stabilizer. It will last from 3 to 5 years, depending on location.

Smart Pots let the roots grow out to the side of the pot where they come in contact with air. The root tips then dry out and cause the plant to create more roots laterally, filling the container with more roots. Even though the Smart Pot is completely porous, it can be used with any medium without worrying about particles leaching out.

The aeration also releases heat, up to 30 degrees more than traditional plastic. With a cooler container, roots will grow even in hotter temperatures as well as keeping microorganism life alive and working.

Container gardening has gained immense popularity among both urban and traditional gardeners. It allows individuals to grow a wide variety of plants in limited spaces while offering portability and ease of maintenance. One of the key innovations that have transformed container gardening is the use of Smart Pots. These fabric containers have revolutionized the way plants are grown in pots, offering numerous advantages over traditional plastic or ceramic pots.

Understanding Smart Pots:

  1. Fabric Construction: Smart Pots are made from a durable and breathable fabric material, typically a polypropylene blend. This fabric is designed to allow air to penetrate the sides of the pot, promoting better root aeration and preventing root circling.

  2. Design Variety: Smart Pots come in various sizes and shapes, from small 1-gallon pots to large 100-gallon containers. They are available in round, square, and rectangular shapes, catering to the specific needs of different plants and garden spaces.

  3. Handles and Portability: Many Smart Pots feature built-in handles that make it easy to move and rearrange your garden, even when the pots are filled with soil and plants.

  4. Reusable: Smart Pots are designed to be reusable season after season, reducing the need for disposable containers and contributing to sustainable gardening practices.

Benefits of Smart Pots:

  1. Improved Aeration: The breathable fabric construction of Smart Pots ensures that roots receive adequate oxygen, preventing problems like root rot and enhancing overall plant health.

  2. Prevents Root Circling: Unlike traditional pots with smooth sides, Smart Pots' fabric texture prevents root circling. This encourages the development of a robust root system, which is essential for healthy and vigorous plant growth.

  3. Temperature Regulation: Smart Pots help regulate soil temperature. In hot weather, the fabric dissipates excess heat, preventing the roots from overheating. In colder weather, the fabric insulates the soil, protecting roots from freezing.

  4. Optimal Drainage: Smart Pots have superior drainage, preventing waterlogged soil. This reduces the risk of root diseases caused by excess moisture.

  5. Air Pruning: As roots reach the edge of the Smart Pot, they encounter the air-permeable fabric. This air pruning process causes the roots to branch out instead of circling, resulting in a healthier and more efficient root system.

  6. Enhanced Growth: Plants grown in Smart Pots often exhibit faster growth rates and higher yields compared to traditional containers. The improved root structure and aeration directly contribute to this enhanced growth.

Applications of Smart Pots:

  1. Vegetable Gardening: Smart Pots are ideal for growing vegetables in limited spaces such as balconies, patios, or small gardens. They are available in various sizes, making them suitable for different types of vegetables.

  2. Flower Gardens: Smart Pots can be used to grow colorful flowers, enhancing the beauty of any outdoor space. Their portability allows for easy garden redesigns and rearrangements.

  3. Herb Gardens: Growing herbs in Smart Pots is a popular choice among culinary enthusiasts. The excellent drainage and aeration promote healthy herb growth.

  4. Fruit Trees: Some gardeners use larger Smart Pots to cultivate dwarf fruit trees. These containers provide an ideal environment for fruit tree root systems.

  5. Indoor Gardening: Smart Pots are suitable for indoor gardening as well. They can be used to grow herbs, small vegetables, or decorative plants in well-lit indoor spaces.

Smart Pots have redefined container gardening by offering superior aeration, root health, and overall plant growth. Their versatile design, portability, and reusable nature make them a valuable addition to any gardener's toolkit, whether you're growing vegetables, flowers, herbs, or fruit trees. With Smart Pots, you can create a thriving garden even in the smallest of spaces while promoting healthier, more productive plants.

Gardening enthusiasts and horticulturists are continually seeking innovative ways to enhance plant growth, maximize yields, and improve root health. One such innovation that has revolutionized the gardening world is the Smart Pot 20-Gallon container. These fabric pots offer a host of benefits that traditional containers can't match. In this guide, we will delve into the features, advantages, and versatility of the Smart Pot 20-Gallon, explaining why it's a game-changer for gardeners of all levels.

Understanding the Smart Pot 20-Gallon:

The Smart Pot 20-Gallon is a fabric container designed to provide an optimal environment for plant growth. It is constructed from a unique, porous fabric that offers several advantages over traditional plastic or ceramic pots. The 20-gallon size is particularly popular among gardeners because it accommodates a wide range of plants, from vegetables and herbs to shrubs and small trees.

Key Features and Benefits:

  1. Air Pruning: The fabric material of the Smart Pot allows air to penetrate the container and reach the plant's roots. This air pruning effect prevents root circling and encourages the growth of a dense, healthy root system. As a result, plants are better equipped to absorb water and nutrients.

  2. Temperature Regulation: Unlike plastic pots, which can become hot and heat up the soil, the breathable fabric of the Smart Pot helps regulate soil temperature. It keeps the roots cooler during hot weather and prevents them from becoming too cold in chilly conditions, promoting optimal plant growth year-round.

  3. Enhanced Drainage: The porous fabric promotes excellent drainage, preventing overwatering and waterlogged soil. This is particularly beneficial for plants that are sensitive to excessive moisture.

  4. Compact Storage: Smart Pot containers are collapsible and can be easily stored when not in use, making them a convenient choice for gardeners with limited storage space.

  5. Versatile Usage: The Smart Pot 20-Gallon is versatile and suitable for a wide range of gardening applications. Whether you're growing vegetables, flowers, herbs, or trees, these containers can accommodate your plants' needs.

  6. Durability: Smart Pot containers are built to last. They are UV-resistant and can withstand the rigors of outdoor gardening, maintaining their structural integrity over multiple growing seasons.

How to Use the Smart Pot 20-Gallon:

Using the Smart Pot 20-Gallon is straightforward:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable location for your container, ensuring it receives the right amount of sunlight for your specific plants.

  2. Fill with Soil: Fill the Smart Pot with high-quality potting mix or garden soil. Ensure the soil is well-draining for optimal results.

  3. Plant Your Selection: Plant your chosen vegetables, herbs, flowers, or shrubs in the container following the recommended spacing and planting depth for each plant type.

  4. Water Regularly: Monitor the moisture levels in the container and water as needed. The breathable fabric promotes even moisture distribution.

  5. Maintenance: Prune and care for your plants as you would in traditional containers or garden beds. The Smart Pot's benefits will support healthier and more robust growth.

  6. Harvest and Enjoy: When your plants are ready for harvest, enjoy the fruits of your labor, knowing that the Smart Pot contributed to their success.

The Smart Pot 20-Gallon is a gardening innovation that offers numerous advantages for plant health, growth, and overall gardening success. Its unique fabric construction promotes air pruning, regulates temperature, enhances drainage, and accommodates a wide range of plants. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting, these fabric containers provide an efficient and convenient solution to elevate your gardening experience. Pure, Gentle, and Perfect for Sensitive Skin — Great for Cleaning Baby Hands & Mouth
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 4)
Summary: These WaterWipes Sensitive+ wipes are incredibly gentle and ideal for babies with delicate or sensitive skin. With only two ingredients, they clean well without irritation and are perfect for everyday use on hands, face, and small messes. Details: I’ve been using WaterWipes for a while, and these Sensitive+ wipes continue to impress me. They’re made with 99.9% purified water and just a drop of fruit extract, making them one of the purest wipes available. I mainly used them for cleaning my baby’s hands and mouth, and they worked wonderfully without any redness, dryness, or irritation. These upgraded wipes are now thicker, softer, and 2x stronger, which makes a noticeable difference. They don’t tear easily, even when dealing with sticky or messy situations. The texture is soft enough for newborn skin, yet durable enough to handle everyday cleaning. Because they have a neutral pH, they help maintain the skin’s natural barrier — a huge plus for babies prone to sensitivity or eczema. They’re dermatologist-tested, accepted by the National Eczema Association, and free of fragrance, alcohol, and harsh chemicals. It’s reassuring to know that what you’re using is safe and gentle. Another advantage is that they’re plant-based and plastic‑free wipes, making them a better option for eco-conscious parents. They also come in convenient packs that are easy to carry in diaper bags, keep in the car, or store around the house. If I had to mention an improvement, the only thing would be adding a resealable hard-top lid to help keep wipes from drying out — though the soft packs still work fine if sealed properly. What I liked • Extremely gentle — perfect for hands, mouth, and face • Only two ingredients: purified water + fruit extract • Thicker and stronger than older versions • Hypoallergenic, fragrance‑free, alcohol‑free • Suitable for eczema‑prone and sensitive skin • Plant-based, dermatologically approved What could be better • A hard plastic lid would help prevent drying out

Love those wipes. I’ve been using them for 2 months old, they’re strong they don’t shed, they cause any skin irritation. The only negative thing is sometimes the wipes stick together. But overall it’s worth the money.

Nothing else will do for Baby Boy
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 12)
When I first delivered my son the hospital supplied us with diapers and . When he was very little the diapers were perfectly fine even though I had my heart set on pampers and pre-bought a bunch of preemies, newborns and size 1's. Long story short - after a couple of weeks the Huggies started to leak and we we had to switch brands.I was super glad we had stocked up on Pampers diapers, which haven't failed us thus far. HOWEVER, I do have to say that the Pampers wipes were not so great. The hospital gave us some wipes to take home with us and I bought about a million before little man was born. After just a few days out of the hospital, we noticed that his little bum was a bit red and irritated and I assumed he was somehow getting a diaper rash - which was perplexing because my fiance and are I always on top of his hygiene. We took him to the pediatrician who told us NO to Pampers, even the sensitive kind, and that she has had babies come into her office with chemical burns from wipes such as Pampers and Huggies. Her suggestion (or kind of demand) was that we buy giant cotton balls and use warm water. WELL, if you're a new parent or a parent in general and living in the real world - this is not as easy-peasy as it sounds. I was willing to do it because, well, doctors orders and I don't want my son to be harmed in any way. My fiance was less than convinced about this process but I was not about to let him use Pampers or Huggies or basically any other kind of chemical wipe. But I certainly I wasn't going to let him get out of diaper duty because it was too much of an inconvenience to use cotton balls and water. I did some investigating and was a little unsettled about the hidden ingredients in most baby wipe brands.According to the Environmental Working Group's analysis of ingredients commonly found in products such as cosmetics and baby wipes - up to 95% of baby wipes, specifically, may be contaminated with impurities that are, mind-boggingly- not regulated by the government. While the ingredients in the wipes aren't necessary toxic in themselves - chemical carcinogens, namely nitrosamines, can potentially form during the manufacturing process, during interaction with what the item is packaged in and after the product has been opened and stored. Essentially, some of the ingredients in baby wipes become contaminated for the aforementioned reasons and thus become entirely different ingredients that technically are not required to be disclosed to customers. I'm not a chemist and I know plenty of people who use and swear by Pampers and Huggie's wipes. Their babies and children are seemingly fine. It's doubtful every pack of baby wipes is going to cause cancer or contact dermatitis. And while not an alarmist - nonetheless, I was concerned about the information I came across. Also, I did not want to defy our son's doctor because she's totally awesome and an itty itty bit intimdiating. So that was it for me. I love you Pampers Swaddlers but your wipes gotta go and you can take most of your competitor brands with you. Except WaterWipes. When I found out these wipes were made of mostly water with a hint of grapefruit extract - I felt like this could be an excellent compromise between warm water and cotton balls and easily disposable and safe wipes IF WaperWipes lived up to its claims. I read up on the Amazon reviews and the majority of the reviews were positive and encouraging; thus I decided it was definitely worth trying. I must say that WaterWipes has lived up to its promises. Some of the reviewers claim these wipes are too dry. I kind of find this to be an issue with wipes in general. I've never used a brand of wipes that were super moist and stayed that way. It's just par for the course, IMO. I love these wipes. They are gentle enough to use anywhere. I even sometimes use them to remove my makeup in a pinch, even scrub off mascara. At first I thought the tiny bit of grapefruit extract might burn my eyes, but it did not. Also, there is no heavy fragrance to WaterWipes, which I can't stand in most baby products. The wipes don't dry out while being stored. They don't turn yellow or start to look burnt in the wipe warmers like some of the other brands I've used or seen used. I find it silly that some people complain about the price because it only has water and grapefruit extract. I'd rather pay more for simplicity that pay less for a bunch of chemicals that gave my baby red skin that was on the verge of becoming raw had our doctor not stopped us in time. I don't find the price to be outrageous - but even if it were - I'd probably still buy them for the sake of convenience. And, as I said, I like having them around for myself. I have a wipe warmer in every room and if I need to wash little man's face from spit up or his hands from drool or my hands from baby formula - no need to dash to the sink every time. I use these wipes instead, they are very multi-purposed. The one little complaint I have is that they don't seem to come apart easily. I'm NEVER ever able to pull them out individually from the wipe warmers so we just lift the whole thing up and grab what we need. My fiance, my friend who is frequently here and mostly anyone else is able to take one wipe at a time this way. But I can't help but manage to grab AT LEAST four every time, but that problem seems to be on my end. Also, before we got the WaterWipes, we seemed to have a problem with ANY brand of wipes easily dispensing from the warmer or their packages. This annoys me about wipes in general but nothing is really perfect. These wipes, however, come pretty darn close. I won't buy anything else and I won't recommend anything else.

Great for Sensitive Skin… But Your Wallet Might Feel It
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 12)
These wipes are one of those “you see the difference immediately” kind of products. They’re super gentle, no strong smell, and they feel clean; like actually clean, not coated in random stuff. I’ve used them on sensitive skin and had zero issues, which already puts them ahead of a lot of other wipes. The only thing...maybe two…are... they’re not cheap. So every time I grab one, there’s a tiny voice in my head like “was that wipe necessary?”. Secondly they are not very easy to pull out of the pack, so you end up pulling out more than you need. But honestly, for how gentle and effective they are, I get why people swear by them. If sensitive skin is a concern, these are definitely worth it.
